Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • i. Planning, developing and implementing company strategy and aligning it to overall company business.
  • ii. New employee orientation and induction and ensuring their awareness of the company policies and procedures
  • iii. Management of staff employment contracts, training and development, succession planning, staff motivation, culture and attitude development and quality management.
  • iv. Resolution of staff conflicts
  • v. Management of staff expenditure within agreed budgets
  • vi. Performance appraisals
  • vii. Recruitment- including job advertising, coordinate, conduct interviews for vacant positions, screening, developing job descriptions and making recommendations for suitable candidates to executive and departmental heads.
  • viii. Health and safety policy at work place
  • ix. Payroll, attendance records, staff annual leave, sick leave, emergency and compassionate leave.
  • x. To prepare and maintain an accurate record, files and reports including responsibility for maintaining personnel records of employees.
  • xi. To assist to manage transfers, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution
  • xii. Preparation of weekly / monthly reports
  • xiii. Other duties as assigned by the management
  • xiv. Provide day to day office administrative support
  • xv. Monitoring and recording the staff daily attendance
  • xvi. Office sundries and general supplies
  • xvii. Conducting staff meetings
  • xviii. General filing
  • xix. Managing company property
  • xx. Inventory management
  • xxi. Ensure business licenses, permits and other statutory documentation are in place and valid
  • xxii. Staff health and safety
  • xxiii. Provide administrative support to the management including transportation, travel, etc.
  • xxiv. Any other duties as allocated by Management



  • i. Must be fluent in English and Swahili
  • ii. Must be proficient in computer packages
  • iii. Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • iv. Good in interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • v. Ability to multitask and prioritize correctly


  • i. Advanced Diploma / Degree Business Administration majoring in Human Resources Management
  • ii. Experience in a similar role for 2 – 5 Yrs.
